Hey there! My name is Dalton, and I made this website to share my love of both weird biology and tabletop roleplaying games. (Updates on Tues, Thurs, and Sat.)
(Of which this is neither, but I don’t care, I like the picture)
So, a little about me. I’ve got a Bachelor’s degree in both Biology and Philosophy, and I’m a huge nerd who loves tabletop rpgs, Magic: the Gathering, and a few other typical games and media. When I was a kid, I’d stare at anthills or fresh puddles in the grass, and loved exploring around the pond and grove near my house, catching minnows, climbing on really small capsizing islands, and whatnot. I’ve sailed Arctic waters and the Spanish coast, seen the lunar eclipse of a Supermoon (which is not a moon from Krypton, despite the name), walked roads older than Rome, visited shrines to forgotten gods, and watched the Star Wars Holiday Special twice.
I’ll be making various posts about unusual organisms and crazy environments, both real life and in different tabletop games (and other games too), as well as general discussion and perhaps some reviews of my favorite sourcebooks on the topic.
Plus, if anyone is interested, I also offer commission/consultation services to help you make up completely unique ecosystems for your own campaign settings or worlds!
